Ester (75) and Ricardo (73), an elderly couple, seek to face the conflicts of old age. Ricardo tries to get a job, but is rejected due to his age. Esther overwhelmed by circumstances, gradually begins to isolate herself in her inner world. Meanwhile, "Death" begins to stalk them, meddling in Ricardo's life and in Esther's dreams.
