College student Emma Morales, pre-law major, records and witnesses a controversial "stop and frisk" on a night out, with her boyfriend Luis. Unfamiliar with the corrupt policy carried out by NYPD officers who racial profile and harass innocent citizens, Emma sets out to end this seemingly unconstitutional practice. Emma researches the legal precedents and collects data, then goes farther to collect her own evidence. She also tails and videotapes officers in action using excessive force while on duty. In spite of failing to immediately end the practice of stop and frisk, she discovers her true-self and continues the cause to fight for what matters most despite the odds.
