When Lucky loses her serving job, Mop suggests they start their own P.I. business, using only a book as an instructional guide. They set up shop in a storage unit and to their utter surprise, they actually get an inquiry from a potential client.

The girls dress to impress and do their best to create an atmosphere of normalcy and professionalism in their strange little office. It seems to work, as Mrs. Myronius, so consumed with her current state of affairs, hardly seems to notice.

Now they have to solve this seemingly unsolvable case. With library books and cheap disguises, Mop and Lucky take off to find their mark. Bored with following him and not sure what more to do, their thoughts turn to their own disheveled love lives.

Upon beginning her research, Lucky comes to realize that the potential for a life of love seems quite bleak. And just when they thought nothing more would happen a strange woman shows up on the scene. Typical. Or so they think.

Fatefully, Mop and Lucky solve their first case and learn that things aren't always what they seem.
