Two months after the 26/11 terrorists attacks in Mumbai, Aabida, now a widow is learning to cope with the locality around her. Excessive care and concern only make her crave for a sense of independence. A strong willed woman, she now chooses to look upon life as a fresh opportunity to indulge in the little pleasures her strict husband would not permit her to when he was alive. However, she has a lot more to deal with than she had expected and faces the brunt of being a Muslim woman in a city, which is now divided in the name of religion. Through a press interview we see Aabida’s life change from her past to the present and how she comes to terms with the fact that she probably has nothing to look forward to and is completely shackled by society’s perspective of her.
