Outside the hospital morgue Dorothy waits with her mother and younger sister Catherine to say goodbye to their recently deceased grandfather. In an attempt to win her mother’s approval Dorothy mirrors her stoic manner, rejecting the weak and childish behaviour of Catherine. However the stark confrontation with death inside the morgue triggers Dorothy to question her mother’s forceful approach, leaving her alone and isolated. That is until she discovers a simple beauty in her sister’s childish ways.
